Zeekr, the premium electric-vehicle brand owned by Geely, delivered 32,483 cars in October, up 51.6% from a year earlier, according to data released by the company and reported by Sina Auto.
For the first ten months of the year, Zeekr's cumulative deliveries surpassed 320,000 units, a 94.4% increase compared with the same period in 2025. The brand's global cumulative deliveries have now exceeded 960,000 vehicles since it began selling cars in 2021.
Growth driven by new models
Zeekr's sales momentum has been fuelled by a steady stream of new models, including the 7X SUV, the Mix MPV and the latest 001 shooting brake. The brand sells a mix of BEVs (battery-electric vehicles) and, more recently, EREVs (range-extender electric vehicles, which pair a battery with a small petrol engine used only to generate electricity).
The company has also been expanding beyond China, selling cars in Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Its global network now spans more than 40 markets, with local assembly planned in some regions to reduce import tariffs.
Competitive landscape
Zeekr's October figure puts it ahead of several Chinese rivals. Nio delivered 20,976 vehicles in the same month, while Xpeng handed over 23,917 units. Li Auto, which focuses on EREVs and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), delivered 51,443 vehicles.
The broader Chinese EV market has been growing rapidly, with BEV and PHEV sales combined accounting for more than half of all new-car sales in the country. Government subsidies and trade-in incentives have helped sustain demand, though a price war among domestic brands has squeezed profit margins.
Zeekr's parent Geely also owns Volvo Cars, Polestar and Lotus, and has been investing heavily in battery technology and autonomous driving. The brand's own battery pack, the Golden Brick, is produced in-house and used across its lineup.
Looking ahead, Zeekr aims to sell 500,000 vehicles globally in 2026, a target that would require sustained double-digit growth for the rest of the year. The company is also preparing to launch a new compact SUV, the Zeekr X facelift, and a larger MPV, the Zeekr 009 Grand, in the coming months.
