Harmony Intelligent Mobility, the electric-vehicle brand jointly operated by Huawei and several Chinese automakers, delivered 33,537 vehicles in October, according to the company's official figures. The brand's average transaction price across its model lineup exceeded 400,000 yuan (about $56,300), positioning it firmly in the premium segment of China's new-energy vehicle market.
Cumulative deliveries since the brand's launch have now surpassed 1.6 million units, the company said in a statement carried by Sina Auto. The October result continues a strong run for the brand, which sells a range of battery-electric (BEV) and range-extender (EREV) models under the Aito, Luxeed and Stelato sub-brands, developed with partners including Seres, Chery and BAIC.
Premium positioning pays off
The average transaction price of more than 400,000 yuan underscores Harmony Intelligent Mobility's strategy of competing at the upper end of China's EV market, where it goes head-to-head with established luxury brands and domestic rivals such as Li Auto and Nio. The brand's flagship models, including the Aito M9 and M7 SUVs, have been among the best-selling premium new-energy vehicles in China this year.
Huawei, which supplies the vehicles' HarmonyOS cockpit software, driver assistance systems and electric powertrain components, has positioned the brand as a technology leader, with features such as urban NOA (city advanced driver assistance) available on several models. The company's automotive unit has expanded rapidly since its first vehicle deliveries in 2022, and the 1.6 million cumulative milestone reflects accelerating sales momentum in recent quarters.
Sales context
The October figure of 33,537 units marks a slight increase over the previous month, according to the company's data, though it remains below the peak monthly volumes seen earlier this year. The brand's sales have been supported by new model launches, including the refreshed Aito M7 and the Stelato S9 sedan, which began deliveries in late summer.
China's new-energy vehicle market overall has continued to grow steadily, with BEVs and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) accounting for more than half of all new car sales in recent months. Harmony Intelligent Mobility's focus on higher-priced vehicles differentiates it from volume-oriented brands like BYD, which dominate the lower and mid-market segments.
The company did not provide a breakdown of deliveries by model or sub-brand in the October statement. Analysts expect the brand to maintain its premium trajectory through the end of the year, with additional models planned for 2026. All prices mentioned are Chinese guide prices before taxes and incentives.
