Xpeng (小鹏) achieved a record monthly delivery total in October, handing over 50,237 new vehicles, according to figures released on November 1 and reported by Chinese outlet Gasgoo. The total represents a 22% increase from September and a 20% rise year-on-year, the company said.
Overseas markets were a standout performer, with 13,326 units delivered abroad in October, up 166% from the same month last year and setting a new high for monthly overseas deliveries. The growth underscores Xpeng's expanding footprint beyond China, particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
MONA L05 SUV launched, GX gains traction
During the month, Xpeng launched the MONA L05, the first large five-seat SUV in its MONA series, with a limited-time promotional price starting at 139,800 yuan (about $19,700) before taxes and incentives. The model proved instantly popular: 5,000 ready-to-deliver units sold out within three minutes of the launch, and nationwide deliveries began on November 1. Since the MONA series debuted two years ago, cumulative deliveries have surpassed 360,000 units.
The company's new technology flagship, the Xpeng GX, continues to perform strongly in the large SUV segment priced above 300,000 yuan (about $42,300). It has also gained traction overseas, securing nearly 4,000 orders in the Middle East even before the price for that region was announced. The GX is set to officially launch in the Middle East and begin global deliveries in the coming phase.
AI showcase and charging network expansion
In October, Xpeng presented its full range of physical AI products at the 91st Paris Motor Show, including a public road demonstration of advanced driver assistance systems alongside Tesla in the official Autonomous Lab. CEO He Xiaopeng, the only Chinese auto executive invited to speak at the Paris Automotive Summit, unveiled the company's 'XPENG AI ENGINEERING' solution, covering humanoid robots, Robotaxi, and flying cars.
As of October 31, Xpeng's charging network spanned more than 430 cities, with over 4,100 self-operated charging stations, including more than 3,600 ultra-fast charging stations. The company said it remains committed to full-stack self-development and will continue to deepen its global strategy, focusing on AI vehicles, Robotaxi, humanoid robots, and flying cars to accelerate the commercial application of physical AI technology.
