Leapmotor, the Chinese electric-vehicle maker backed by Stellantis, delivered 106,127 vehicles globally in October, up 51% year-on-year, according to Gasgoo. It was the fourth consecutive month that the company's monthly sales surpassed 100,000 units, keeping it among the leading Chinese new-energy vehicle startups. The brand ranked third among Chinese new-energy brands and fourth globally in monthly sales.
By the end of October, Leapmotor's cumulative global deliveries had exceeded 1.9 million units. The company expects to roll out its two-millionth vehicle in November.
European expansion and local production
Leapmotor used the 2026 Paris International Motor Show, which opened on October 12, to present its most comprehensive European lineup to date. The A05, a compact smart sedan, made its European debut, alongside the D19, a technology-focused luxury flagship SUV. Leapmotor founder Zhu Jiangming and Leapmotor International CEO Danilo Annese jointly unveiled the new models. Annese said that continuous innovation, deeper localisation and developing electric mobility solutions around consumer needs would be key to expanding Leapmotor's presence in Europe.
On October 16, Leapmotor and Stellantis reached a significant industrial milestone: the Leapmotor B10 began mass production at the Stellantis plant in Zaragoza, Spain. The factory leverages Stellantis' mature manufacturing systems, industrial experience and European footprint, combined with Leapmotor's strengths in new-energy vehicle technology, product development and innovation efficiency. The move enables local production of the B10, and the two companies said they would jointly accelerate the development of more competitive electric mobility.
Sales promotion in China
On November 1, Leapmotor launched its "Double 11 limited-time car-buying season" in China. During the promotion, selected models offer combined benefits of up to 57,379 yuan (about $8,080), with financial, warranty and data packages covering all models currently on sale. The campaign also includes special Double 11 limited-time benefits.
Leapmotor's October performance underscores its momentum in both domestic and overseas markets. The company's partnership with Stellantis, which includes a joint venture for international sales, has been central to its global strategy, particularly in Europe where tariffs on Chinese-made EVs have prompted several Chinese brands to localise production.
