Li Auto delivers 29,025 vehicles in October, MEGA tops 500,000-yuan MPV segment

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October 2026, with cumulative deliveries reaching 1.86 million. The new MEGA led the premium MPV segment for two straight months, and the company launched its self-developed Lianshan battery and motor.

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October 2026, bringing its cumulative total to 1,862,676 units, according to data released by the company on November 1. The figure marks another solid month for the Beijing-based automaker, which continues to lead China's market for vehicles priced above 200,000 yuan (about $28,170).

The company's chairman and CEO, Li Xiang, said the new-generation Li MEGA delivered more than 3,000 units in October, ranking first in the MPV segment priced above 500,000 yuan (about $70,420) for the second consecutive month. The MEGA is a battery-electric MPV (BEV) that competes in China's premium people-mover market.

New battery and motor technology

In October, Li Auto officially launched its Lianshan battery and Lianshan electric motor, developed in-house to improve vehicle performance, safety, quality and longevity. The company also introduced a Lianshan battery protection plan aimed at giving owners greater peace of mind over the long term.

The newly launched 2026 Li i6, which went on sale in October, is equipped with the Lianshan battery, the Mach M100 chip, and more than 20 other intelligent and configuration upgrades. According to Li Auto, the i6's order intake in the first 72 hours significantly surpassed the level seen during the same period after last year's model launch, reinforcing the company's position as a sales leader in the segment above 200,000 yuan.

Software and charging network expansion

Li Xiang also said that in November, the company will begin rolling out OTA 9.2, which brings the Mach VLA 2.5 driver-assistance system and several cabin agent upgrades. He noted that Li Auto's long-term investment in technology—from core battery and electric-drive breakthroughs to vehicle refreshes and software updates—is translating into tangible improvements for both new and existing customers.

As of October 31, 2026, Li Auto operated 481 retail centers across 159 cities and 527 after-sales service centers covering 217 cities. The company had also deployed 4,206 Li Auto supercharging stations with 23,163 charging piles nationwide, according to the release reported by Gasgoo (盖世汽车).
