Li Auto delivers 29,025 vehicles in October, unveils new battery and motor tech

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October 2026, with cumulative deliveries reaching 1.86 million. The company also launched its Lianshan battery and motor, and the 2026 Li i6 saw strong order intake.

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October 2026, according to figures released by the company and reported by NetEase Auto. Cumulative deliveries reached 1,862,676 units by the end of October.

New tech and models drive momentum

The company said its new-generation Li MEGA, a battery-electric MPV, delivered more than 3,000 units in October, ranking first in the premium MPV segment priced above 500,000 yuan (about $70,400) for the second consecutive month. Li Auto also formally launched its Lianshan battery and Lianshan electric motor, which it says improve vehicle performance, safety, quality and lifespan through in-house development and vehicle integration.

The newly launched 2026 Li i6, which features the Lianshan battery and the Mach M100 chip along with more than 20 other upgrades, saw orders in the first 72 hours significantly exceed the level of the same period last year, according to the company. Li Auto says the i6 strengthens its leading position in the segment of vehicles priced above 200,000 yuan (about $28,200).

Li Auto founder and CEO Li Xiang said in a statement that the company's long-term investment in technology is translating into tangible product improvements for new and existing customers. He also noted that the OTA 9.2 software update, set to roll out in November, will bring the Mach VLA 2.5 driver-assistance system and several cabin agent upgrades.

Expanding network

As of October 31, Li Auto operated 481 retail centers across 159 cities in China, along with 527 after-sales and authorized service centers covering 217 cities. The company also had 4,206 Li Auto supercharging stations with 23,163 charging points in operation nationwide.

The October delivery figure marks a continuation of Li Auto's growth as it expands its lineup and charging infrastructure. The company's focus on extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) and battery-electric models positions it to compete across multiple segments in China's increasingly crowded EV market.
