Li Auto delivers 29,025 vehicles in October, i6 to drive Q4 growth

Li Auto delivered 29,025 vehicles in October 2026, bringing its cumulative total to 1.86 million units, with the new i6 model expected to boost sales in November and beyond.

Li Auto reported October deliveries of 29,025 vehicles on November 1, according to the company's monthly sales release carried by Chinese outlet Sina Auto. The figure brings the Beijing-based automaker's cumulative deliveries to 1,862,676 units as of October 31, 2026.

The October tally was supported by the recent launch of the 2026 Li Auto i6, a model the company says will contribute more sales in November and the months ahead. Li Auto also noted that deliveries of the new-generation Li MEGA exceeded 3,000 units during the month.

Software update on the way

In November, Li Auto will begin pushing OTA 9.2, an over-the-air software update that introduces Mach VLA 2.5 and several cabin Agent upgrades. The update is part of the company's push to enhance its in-car intelligence and driver assistance features.

Li Auto, which builds extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) and battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), has been one of China's top-selling new energy vehicle brands. Its lineup includes the L-series SUVs and the MEGA MPV, alongside the newly launched i6.

The company's October performance comes amid intense competition in China's EV market, where brands including BYD, Nio and Xpeng are vying for share. Li Auto has differentiated itself with its range-extender technology, which combines a small gasoline engine with an electric drivetrain to ease range anxiety.

Outlook

With the i6 now on sale, Li Auto is betting on the model to sustain momentum through the final quarter of the year. The company has not disclosed specific November guidance, but management has previously signaled confidence in its product cycle.

Li Auto's cumulative deliveries of more than 1.86 million units underscore its position as one of China's most successful EV startups. The company continues to expand its retail and service network across the country as it prepares for further growth.
