Geely has introduced the 2027 Bin Yue Super Power Edition, a compact SUV aimed at younger drivers, with a limited-time launch price starting at 59,800 yuan (about $8,400) and topping out at 71,800 yuan (about $10,100). The model, unveiled on October 27, is positioned as a “high-quality champion SUV” and comes in three variants, according to NetEase Auto.
Design and interior upgrades
The new Bin Yue adopts Geely’s latest “flowing light” design language, featuring a revised front grille with 14 vertical chrome slats and new LED daytime running lights. At the rear, a streamlined spoiler and layered taillights enhance the sporty look, while a hidden exhaust and rear diffuser add to the visual appeal. The SUV measures 4,330 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,609 mm tall, with a 2,600 mm wheelbase, and rides on 17-inch wheels.
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned with a wraparound layout, soft-touch materials, and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen paired with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system runs Geely’s Flyme Auto software, powered by a 12-nanometer E02 chip, and supports smartphone connectivity via Flyme Link, Huawei HiCar, and Carlink, along with voice control and over-the-air updates. The car also includes 20-plus convenience features such as a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated and folding mirrors, and automatic climate control with rear vents.
Geely emphasizes practicality, claiming a class-leading 84.6% interior space efficiency, 28 storage compartments, and a 593-liter trunk that expands to 1,054 liters with the rear seats folded. Two interior color schemes are offered: Warm Sun Orange and Dusk Grey.
Powertrain and pricing
Power comes from a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with direct injection, producing 93 kW (about 125 hp) and 152 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a CVT automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox. Fuel consumption is rated at 6.89 L/100 km for the automatic and 6.46 L/100 km for the manual, on the WLTP cycle. The suspension uses MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam at the rear, tuned for comfort on paved roads.
The “limited-time launch price” is calculated as the official guide price minus a cash discount, and customers who order before November 30 also receive four bonus packages covering cash, trade-in, warranty, and data benefits. The 2027 Bin Yue Super Power Edition is part of Geely’s push to strengthen its presence in the small SUV segment, competing with models like the BYD Yuan Up and Changan CS35 Plus.
