Zunjie V800 targets mobile office buyers in China's 1-million-yuan MPV segment

Zunjie's V800, priced from 766,000 to 1.016 million yuan, competes in China's premium MPV market with rear-cabin features for business users, including a work table, privacy screens and a 41.6-inch projector screen.

Chinese automaker Zunjie, a brand under the Huawei-backed ecosystem, is positioning its V800 MPV as a mobile office for executives and frequent business travelers. The vehicle, priced between 766,000 and 1.016 million yuan (about $107,900 to $143,100, Chinese guide price before taxes and incentives), competes in the country's fast-growing premium new-energy MPV segment.

According to PCauto, the V800's rear cabin is designed to handle tasks like replying to messages between meetings or reviewing documents en route to an event. The second-row seats recline up to 150 degrees, and when the third row is stowed, the space opens up further. The seats feature 20 massage points and active side bolsters for long journeys.

Office-focused features

A key differentiator is the fold-out table that can double as a vanity mirror. The cabin also includes a partitioned storage box with a hidden pen holder and a detachable 6.6-inch magnetic control screen. A private beverage bar and a cooler box add to the convenience for short receptions.

Privacy is addressed with electric curtains on the front and rear windows, side privacy glass and sunshades. These help create a separate zone for working or resting, though PCauto notes they are not a guarantee of confidentiality for sensitive conversations.

For entertainment, the V800 offers a 41.6-inch retractable projector screen with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut support. The HUAWEI SOUND ULTIMATE audio system includes 41 speakers tuned for different seating positions.

Chassis and positioning

The V800 rides on an 800V architecture with fully active suspension that can adjust body posture and react to road conditions ahead. It also features triple-redundant steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering, which the company says support the vehicle's technology-forward positioning.

PCauto compares the V800 with the Zeekr 009 Glory Edition and the Volvo EM90. The Zeekr 009 Glory Edition uses a four-seat layout for VIP users, while the Volvo EM90 offers a three-row, six-seat configuration with a 15.6-inch rear screen for entertainment and video calls. The V800, with its six-seat layout and office-oriented features, aims to serve buyers who need both business functionality and space for family travel.

Zunjie says initial V800 owners include entrepreneurs and professionals, and the vehicle has been used for international event shuttle services and tech summit hospitality. The company sees strong corporate demand, though PCauto advises buyers to weigh the frequency of business use when deciding on optional features.
