Zongheng G700 luxury off-roader launches globally from 304,900 yuan

Zongheng, a Chinese luxury off-road brand, launched the 2027 G700 globally at a Beijing event, priced from 304,900 yuan (about $43,000), with sales already exceeding 30,000 units in 11 months and top rankings in eight countries.

Chinese luxury off-road brand Zongheng has launched the 2027 G700 globally at an event in Beijing, with prices starting at 304,900 yuan (about $43,000) before taxes and incentives. The model, unveiled on September 29 at the Shougang Park in the capital, is positioned as a "full-domain luxury off-road SUV" and is the brand's first global release, according to Chinese outlet D1EV.

Global sales momentum

Zongheng, which was established less than a year ago, says the G700 has already achieved global sales of over 30,000 units in its first 11 months on the market. The brand claims it has become the best-selling Chinese luxury SUV in eight countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico, marking a key step in its international expansion.

The G700 is built on Zongheng's GAIA full-domain intelligent control system, which integrates a hybrid powertrain, a reinforced ladder frame, three locking differentials as standard, and an all-wheel-drive system. The vehicle also features Huawei's Qiankun ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), a voice assistant powered by Doubao, dual zero-gravity seats, and a 20-speaker Lexicon audio system, aiming to combine off-road capability with luxury comfort.

Two lives, one vehicle

Zongheng's "one vehicle, two lives" philosophy targets buyers who want both urban convenience and off-road adventure. The G700 is available in five trims, including a six-seat version with a 260 km (162 miles) electric-only range. The brand says the model can handle extreme conditions, citing its participation in the Taklimakan Rally and a climb of Bilutu Peak, the highest sand dune in the world.

At the launch, Zongheng also awarded early buyers certificates for "emergency amphibious driving" qualifications, signaling the brand's push into water-capable vehicles. The G700's "Supreme Voyage" version has completed river crossings and rescue demonstrations, according to the company.

The launch event also introduced "Zongheng Realm," a user-community program focused on public welfare, co-creation, and outdoor experiences, aimed at building brand loyalty among owners.
