Zeekr 9X becomes most expensive Chinese production car in EU at €119,500 in Germany

Zeekr has priced its 9X flagship SUV at €119,500 (about 930,000 yuan) in Germany, making it the most expensive Chinese production car sold in the EU, according to PCauto. The move signals a shift from volume-driven exports to premium positioning.

Zeekr has announced German pricing for its 9X flagship SUV, setting a starting price of €119,500 (about 930,000 yuan, or roughly $131,000), according to PCauto. That makes the 9X the most expensive Chinese production car currently sold in the European Union, the outlet reported.

The German launch follows a public debut in Amsterdam. A Black Line edition is priced close to 1 million yuan (about $141,000), while a custom version by global tuner Mansory sells overseas for more than 2.7 million yuan (about $380,000). With those figures, Zeekr positions the 9X against mid-to-high-spec versions of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne.

Premium equipment for Europe

The Ultra AWD version headed to Europe is loaded with luxury features. The second row gets two independent seats with massage, ventilation, heating and powered leg rests, while the third row keeps full comfort equipment. A 32-speaker Naim audio system, a 17-inch 3K OLED retractable display for rear passengers, and a center console compartment that cools or warms between -6°C and 50°C round out the cabin.

PCauto frames the German pricing as a signal for China's EV export push. Chinese carmakers have long entered overseas markets with value-for-money models; the 9X's high price in a core European luxury market suggests a shift from chasing volume to seeking pricing power abroad.

Beyond Europe

Zeekr has confirmed the 9X will appear at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 23-26, marking the brand's first appearance at the event, where it will sponsor the upper-deck lounge and closing party. The show is a major gathering for the superyacht industry.

The 9X has also shipped to the United Arab Emirates, where it carries an official price of 369,900 dirhams (about 720,000 yuan, or roughly $101,000). Pre-orders there have exceeded 500 units, and social media clips show UAE royal family members using the car during official travel, which drew attention locally.

Zeekr says it now operates in more than 50 countries and regions across five continents, with nearly 800 global stores, including over 220 overseas. The German price is a Chinese guide price before taxes and incentives; actual on-road costs in Europe will be higher.
