Xpeng Group delivered 41,256 vehicles in September, up 5% from August, with the G9L launching in China at a starting price of 231,800 yuan (about $32,700) and set to reach 64 markets globally.

Xpeng Group delivered 41,256 vehicles in September, up 5% month on month, according to Sina Auto. The third-quarter total reached 118,390 units, a 15% increase from the previous quarter.

G9L launch and global expansion

On September 17, the Xpeng G9L went on sale in China with a limited-time guide price starting at 231,800 yuan (about $32,700), before taxes and incentives. Positioned as a global model, the G9L will gradually enter 64 countries and regions. In September, the Xpeng GX delivered 7,224 units, while the Xpeng MONA L03 exceeded 10,000 deliveries. The MONA L03 has also launched in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia, with deliveries beginning in those markets.

Software and robotics milestones

Xpeng began rolling out the second-generation VLA (vision-language-action) system with the new XOS 6.3.0 version and the VLA Lite version in September. The company also activated the world's first high-level general-purpose humanoid robot automated production line, with plans to begin mass production of its robot by the end of this year.

The delivery figures reflect Xpeng's continued momentum in China's competitive electric-vehicle market, where brands are vying for share amid a price war. The company's focus on both passenger cars and robotics signals a broader strategy beyond conventional vehicle sales.
