Onvo L90 gets two-tone Stellar Gold design pack, priced from 6,000 yuan

Onvo has opened orders for a limited-time Stellar Gold design package for its L90 large electric SUV, pairing a Stellar Blue body with a Cloud Gold roof and priced at 6,000 yuan until further notice.

Onvo, Nio's mass-market brand, has begun selling a limited-time design package for its L90 large electric SUV, according to Chinese tech outlet Kuaikeji. The Stellar Gold package, priced at 10,000 yuan (about $1,410) and offered at a promotional 6,000 yuan (about $845), pairs a Stellar Blue body with a Cloud Gold roof and titanium trim accents, creating what the company describes as a "bright moon rising from the sea" effect. The design is inspired by the moon over the ocean, a symbol of family reunion, timed to coincide with China's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day travel season.

Interior and pricing

The package also includes a new Mist Gray interior theme, inspired by the shifting light of mountain mists at dawn and dusk, with a cool gray tone layered over a soft texture that echoes the exterior's blue-and-gold contrast. Onvo stressed that the Stellar Gold package is purely a cosmetic option covering exterior and interior colors, with no changes to hardware or specifications.

The L90's base price remains unchanged. The vehicle starts at 265,800 yuan (about $37,400) for outright purchase, or 179,800 yuan (about $25,300) under Nio's BaaS battery subscription plan, which lowers the upfront cost by leasing the battery separately. These are Chinese guide prices before taxes and incentives.

Specs and sales

The L90, launched on July 31, 2025, is a large battery-electric SUV (BEV) built on Nio's NT3.0 platform with an 900V electrical architecture. It comes standard with an 85 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 605 km (376 miles) for the rear-drive version and 570 km (354 miles) for the all-wheel-drive version. CLTC figures tend to be 15-20% more optimistic than WLTP, so the equivalent WLTP estimates would be roughly 485-515 km (301-320 miles) for the rear-drive model and 455-485 km (283-301 miles) for the all-wheel-drive model. The L90 is offered with six- or seven-seat layouts.

Onvo said cumulative deliveries of the L90 have surpassed 60,000 units since its launch, making it the best-selling pure-electric large SUV in the 300,000-yuan (about $42,250) segment in China as of the one-year anniversary of its market debut. The L90 competes in a growing segment of large electric family SUVs in China, where buyers increasingly prioritize space and range for long-distance travel.
