Nio expands holiday roadside assistance to over 100 stations and 360 service centers

Nio has launched its National Day travel support program, with over 100 roadside supply stations and more than 360 service centers operating across China, serving customers of Nio, Onvo, and Firefly brands.

Nio has rolled out a comprehensive travel support program for China's National Day holiday, covering roadside assistance, after-sales service, official car rental, and chauffeur services. The initiative spans all three of Nio's brands—Nio, Onvo, and Firefly—allowing users of each to share the full suite of resources, according to PCauto.

During the holiday period, Nio has set up more than 100 roadside supply stations at highway service areas and popular scenic spots across the country. These stations provide basic services such as food supplies, tire pressure checks, and road guidance. Some stations along the Silk Road battery-swap route have added local touches, offering regional specialties like naan bread and Jinghe meat pies. Since Nio pioneered roadside supply stations in 2021, the service has handled over 510,000 visits, with more than half coming from users outside the three brands.

Service network and rental upgrades

On the after-sales front, more than 360 Nio service centers nationwide will remain open during the holiday. For 92 popular self-driving routes, including the Silk Road and Duku Highway, Nio has reinforced service resources. In areas with sparse service coverage, the company has deployed loaner cars, tow trucks, and mobile service vehicles, and pre-stocked repair parts to speed up emergency response.

Nio's official rental service, Yuexiang Chuxing, has been upgraded to support flexible rental periods by day, week, or month. It now covers 49 cities and multiple models across the three brands, with rental customers enjoying the same benefits as owners, including battery swap and chauffeur services. For holiday-specific needs, Nio's chauffeur service has introduced local driver guides and pet-feeding packages.

On September 26, Nio completed the full connection of its Silk Road battery-swap route. The company now operates more than 4,100 battery-swap stations nationwide, with over 9,400 combined charging and swapping stations. More than 1,000 highway swap stations form a high-speed network spanning nine vertical and eleven horizontal corridors, connecting 16 major city clusters. Nio ranked first in both the 2026 J.D. Power and Jielanlu after-sales service studies.
