Lynk & Co, the Geely-owned brand, has launched its new all-electric 20 SUV in China, with a limited-time launch price starting at 118,800 yuan (about $16,700). The model, positioned as a "heart-pumping electric SUV," is built on Geely's SEA architecture and comes with a host of high-end features as standard, according to Chinese outlet D1EV.
Standard equipment and performance
The Lynk & Co 20 is equipped with a standard lidar, the Qianli H5 driver-assistance system, an 800V electrical architecture, and 6C ultra-fast charging. The vehicle's electric motor delivers a peak power of 245 kW (about 328 hp) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The battery, called Shendun Jinzhuan, supports a maximum charging power of 460 kW, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 12 minutes. The company claims the battery has passed 36 extreme test scenarios, ensuring safety and performance across temperatures.
The car features a 16-in-1 silicon carbide oil-cooled electric drive unit, which the company says achieves an efficiency of 93.8% and reduces weight by 15%. The 800V integrated thermal management system allows the heat pump to operate in temperatures as low as -30°C.
Smart driving and interior
The Lynk & Co 20 comes standard with the Qianli H5 ADAS, powered by a Horizon Journey 6M chip with 128 TOPS of computing power. The system uses 28 sensors, including one lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras, enabling features like urban NOA (city advanced driver assistance), highway NOA, and parking assistance. The vehicle supports six parking functions, including automatic, remote, and memory parking, covering over 300 parking scenarios.
Inside, the car features a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 13.8-inch head-up display. The infotainment system runs on the LYNK Flyme Auto 2.5 with a 4nm chip, 24GB RAM, and 256GB storage. The AI voice assistant, based on the Xingrui and DeepSeek models, can recognize emotions and remember preferences.
The exterior design follows Lynk & Co's "The Next Day" language, with options for six colors and two custom paint finishes co-created with fashion designer Christelle Kocher. A sporty "Feichi" version adds a carbon-fiber rear wing that provides 500N of downforce at 180 km/h.
The Lynk & Co 20 is priced in the competitive 150,000 yuan segment for electric SUVs, aiming to bring advanced technology to a broader audience. The launch marks Lynk & Co's tenth anniversary and its push into the electric era.
