Lynk & Co 20 launches from 118,800 yuan with lidar, 800V and 6C charging as standard

Lynk & Co unveiled the 20, a compact electric SUV built on Geely's SEA architecture, starting at 118,800 yuan (about $16,700). All trims include a lidar, 800V platform and 6C fast charging, with CLTC range up to 630 km.

Lynk & Co has launched the 20, a new compact battery-electric SUV, with prices starting at 118,800 yuan (about $16,700) before taxes and incentives. The model, unveiled on September 28, is based on Geely's SEA architecture and is positioned as an entry point to the brand's electric lineup, according to NetEase Auto.

Standard tech and performance

Every version of the Lynk & Co 20 comes with a lidar sensor, an 800V electrical architecture, and 6C fast-charging capability. The system can charge from 10% to 80% in about 12 minutes at a peak power of 460 kW. The rear-mounted electric motor produces 245 kW (about 328 hp) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 201 km/h.

Two battery options are offered: 61.52 kWh and 70.01 kWh, corresponding to CLTC ranges of 545 km and 630 km, respectively. In WLTP terms, those figures are roughly 15-20% lower, so expect around 463-536 km (est.) for the larger pack.

The car measures 4,495 mm long, 1,845 mm wide and 1,573 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. That makes it 35 mm longer than the current Lynk & Co Z20. A 125-litre powered front trunk is standard, and an optional 37.5-litre front cooler can keep items frozen or chilled for up to 24 hours after the car is switched off.

Interior and driver assistance

Inside, the Lynk & Co 20 features a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, and a 13.8-inch augmented-reality head-up display. The infotainment runs on the Lynk Flyme Auto 2.5 system with a 4nm chip that delivers 48 TOPS of AI computing power. The cabin includes a 6.8-litre cooler with a temperature range from -6°C to 50°C, and front seats with heating, ventilation, massage and electric lumbar support.

For driver assistance, the car uses 28 sensing units, including the standard lidar, to support urban NOA (city advanced driver assistance), highway NOA, and parking-to-parking navigation. The system is branded as Qianli Haohan H5 and includes full-scenario parking assistance.

Lynk & Co also partnered with French fashion designer Christelle Kocher, creative director of KOCHÉ and artistic director of Chanel's Lemarié atelier, to create two custom paint finishes called 'Yuyi' and 'Yuanyun'. These are shown at the launch event but are not part of the standard colour palette, which includes a bright yellow, camellia white, anko red and sand beige.

The Lynk & Co 20 is available in five trims, with a limited-time launch price starting at 118,800 yuan. Customers who place a deposit and lock their order before October 31 can receive up to 63,078 yuan in purchase benefits.
