Li Auto delivered 31,817 vehicles in September 2026, according to data released by the company on October 1. This brings its cumulative deliveries to 1,833,651 vehicles as of the end of September.
The month saw strong performance from the new-generation Li L6, which surpassed 10,000 units delivered in September. The company is known for its extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs), which combine a battery with a small petrol engine to extend driving range.
Smart driving and European expansion
On the technology front, Li Auto's Mach VLA 2.0 advanced driver assistance system has been pushed via over-the-air (OTA) updates to AD Max models equipped with Orin-X and Thor chips. This update enhances the vehicles' autonomous driving capabilities, including urban navigation on assisted driving (urban NOA).
In October, the 2026 Li i6 will officially go on sale, with upgrades focused on range, comfort, and smart features. Li Auto will also make its European debut at the Paris Motor Show, where the i6 will be introduced to the European market.
As of September 30, Li Auto operates 485 retail stores across 160 cities in China, along with 532 service centers covering 217 cities. The company has also installed 4,188 supercharging stations with 23,077 charging points nationwide.
According to Sina Auto, these figures highlight Li Auto's continued growth in China's competitive EV market, where it competes with other domestic brands like BYD and Nio.
