Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility delivers 37,490 vehicles in September

Harmony Intelligent Mobility, Huawei's auto alliance, delivered 37,490 vehicles in September 2026, pushing cumulative deliveries past 1.56 million units, according to Sina Auto.

Harmony Intelligent Mobility, Huawei's umbrella brand for its carmaking partnerships, delivered 37,490 vehicles in September 2026, according to Sina Auto. The figure brings cumulative deliveries since the brand's launch to more than 1.56 million units.

The monthly result covers models built with partners including Seres, Chery and BAIC, spanning battery-electric (BEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and range-extender (EREV) powertrains. Huawei does not break down sales by model in its monthly statement.

New showroom arrivals

During China's National Day holiday, which began October 1, the company said updated versions of its Chery-built models — the facelifted Zhijie R7 and the new Zhijie RX — along with the BAIC-built Xiangjie V8, have arrived at dealerships across the country. The Zhijie R7 is an electric coupe-SUV, while the Xiangjie V8 is a large executive sedan.

The deliveries mark a steady performance for Huawei's automotive business, which has expanded rapidly since its first model launched in late 2021. The brand competes directly with domestic EV leaders such as BYD, Nio and Xpeng, and has carved out a niche with its HarmonyOS cockpit and advanced driver assistance systems.

Context for readers

Huawei's role in autos is unusual: it supplies software, electric drive systems and smart-cockpit technology to automakers, which manufacture the vehicles under joint brand names. The alliance's cumulative volume of 1.56 million units makes it one of China's faster-growing EV groups, though it trails BYD's multi-million annual sales.

September's 37,490 units is roughly in line with recent monthly averages for the brand, which has been gradually adding models and partners. The company has not yet disclosed fourth-quarter sales targets.

For international readers, these are Chinese domestic sales figures; Harmony Intelligent Mobility has not yet launched vehicles in Europe or North America. The brand's next major product rollout is expected to focus on the Chinese market, where competition in the 200,000-400,000 yuan (about $28,200-$56,300) segment remains intense.
