Huawei's intelligent driving brand Qiankun has teamed up with Xiaohongshu's "Road Trip Plan" to launch a new travel initiative called "Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving Road Trip" ahead of China's National Day holiday. As part of the collaboration, the company has installed "All the Way with Qiankun" themed art installations at five major scenic spots along six popular self-driving routes, according to PCauto.
Giant ticket installations across five scenic regions
The centerpiece of the installations is a giant enlarged train ticket, a symbol that resonates deeply with Chinese travelers as it represents the anticipation of departure, the warmth of reunion, and the imagination of distant places. Huawei Qiankun has turned this emotional object into a poetic expression of the brand and an invitation to embrace a beautiful life.
The five "tickets" are strategically placed across the country, covering the east, west, south, north, and central regions. In the east, the installation at Zhoushan's Daqingshan offers views of a cliffside sunset; in the west, the Tarim Poplar Forest is transformed into a golden sea; in the south, Sanya Bay provides a panoramic view of the ocean; in the north, the Chagan Lake wetland is ideal for bird watching; and in the central region, the Enshi Grand Canyon showcases karst landscapes. These locations were chosen for their high visitor traffic and photogenic appeal during the holiday period.
By using the art installations as visual anchors, Huawei Qiankun aims to attract tourists to stop and interact, making "All the Way with Qiankun" a memorable part of the National Day travel season. The initiative is designed to introduce more travelers to Huawei's intelligent driving technology in the context of real-world road trips.
Promoting smart driving through cultural tourism
This cross-industry collaboration between a technology brand and a travel platform highlights the growing trend of integrating advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) into everyday life. Huawei's Qiankun brand, known for its smart driving solutions, is leveraging the holiday travel boom to increase brand visibility and educate consumers about the benefits of intelligent driving features.
The partnership with Xiaohongshu, a popular social media and lifestyle platform, allows Huawei to reach a younger, travel-oriented audience. Through the road trip guides and interactive installations, the company hopes to foster a deeper connection between its technology and the experience of holiday road trips.
As China's electric vehicle market continues to expand, companies like Huawei are increasingly focusing on software and services that enhance the driving experience. The "All the Way with Qiankun" campaign is part of a broader strategy to position Huawei as a leader in intelligent mobility solutions, extending beyond hardware to encompass the entire journey of the driver.
