GAC Toyota has introduced a new limited-edition version of its Bozhi 3X electric SUV in China, the Nebula edition, with a promotional price of 117,800 yuan (about $16,600). The model, announced on September 29, builds on the 520 Pro trim and adds 3,000 yuan (about $420) worth of extra equipment, according to the Chinese outlet 第一电动 (D1EV).
The Nebula edition is distinguished by a Nebula Blue exterior color, a Nebula-themed interior, 19-inch star-spoke wheels, front-seat massage function, and an 11-speaker Yamaha audio system. It retains the brand's Hi-Tech & Warmth design language, featuring a full-width light bar, C-shaped daytime running lights, and a seven-shaped split headlamp cluster with 240 LED units and seven light sequences.
The Bozhi 3X measures 4,600 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm, placing it in the compact SUV segment. Inside, it comes with a 14.6-inch central touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chip, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, an AI-powered smart cockpit, four-zone voice recognition, and a 1.14-square-meter panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade.
Driving assistance and powertrain
For driver assistance, the vehicle uses Momenta's R6 reinforcement-learning world model, with the vision-based sensor count increased to 20, an upgraded 8-megapixel front camera, and triple the domain controller computing power. The optional lidar version extends detection range to 200 meters and includes upgraded cone recognition and angular resolution, alongside a new-generation millimeter-wave radar.
The Nebula edition is powered by a 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor and a 58.37 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 520 km (about 323 miles). In the broader Bozhi 3X lineup, a top-spec variant offers a 165 kW (221 hp) motor with either a 50 kWh or 68 kWh battery, providing CLTC ranges of 430 km (267 miles) and 610 km (379 miles), respectively. Note that CLTC figures tend to be 15-20% more optimistic than WLTP; a rough WLTP estimate for the Nebula edition would be around 440 km (273 miles).
The 117,800 yuan price is a Chinese guide price before taxes and incentives, and it applies for a limited time. The Bozhi 3X is produced by GAC Toyota, a joint venture between GAC Group and Toyota, and is sold under the Toyota brand in China.
