On Sept. 16, Fangchengbao launched the Fangcheng S and Fangcheng S GT sedans in Shanghai, with deliveries starting immediately. The S is priced at 189,900-229,900 yuan (about $26,700-$32,400), while the S GT ranges from 219,900 to 239,900 yuan (about $31,000-$33,800). On Sept. 29, Fangchengbao opened reservations for the Ti 9, a flagship SUV positioned around the 400,000 yuan (about $56,300) price point. The model is expected to be one of BYD's key competitive launches in the second half of the year.
Fangchengbao's first pickup, the Shark, will go on sale in the fourth quarter after being sold overseas. The model extends the brand beyond SUVs and sedans into the new-energy pickup segment. With multiple product lines, Fangchengbao aims to broaden its market coverage and brand image, the report noted.
