Fangchengbao announces October purchase incentives across full lineup

Fangchengbao, BYD's off-road brand, is offering financing and trade-in perks for its entire lineup, including the Bao 5, Bao 8, Tai 3, Tai 7, and the new Fangcheng S and SGT, valid through October 31.

Fangchengbao, BYD's dedicated off-road brand, has released its October purchase incentives covering every model in its lineup, according to PCauto. The promotion runs from October 1 to October 31 and applies to the Bao 5, Bao 8, Tai 3, Tai 7, and the newly launched Fangcheng S and Fangcheng SGT. The financial subsidy component is available only to individual retail customers.

For the Bao 5 and Bao 8, buyers who place an order by October 31 can take advantage of a three-year zero-interest financing plan. Trade-in subsidies go up to 10,000 yuan (about $1,400). The flash-charge versions of these models include 12 months of free flash-charging access from the date of delivery, limited to non-commercial vehicles.

Per-model offers

The Tai 7 offers the same three-year zero-interest financing, with trade-in subsidies up to 6,000 yuan (about $845) and the same 12-month free flash-charging perk for flash-charge versions. The Tai 3, meanwhile, is covered by a flexible financing package that lets buyers choose either zero down payment, zero interest, or zero monthly payments for the first period. Trade-in subsidies for the Tai 3 also reach 6,000 yuan, and flash-charge versions get the 12-month free charging benefit.

The Fangcheng S and Fangcheng SGT, which are the brand's newest additions, are also included in the "zero down payment, zero interest, or zero monthly payments" financing scheme. Their trade-in subsidies top out at 6,000 yuan, and orders placed by October 31 qualify for 12 months of free flash-charging.

All figures are Chinese guide prices before taxes and incentives. The incentives are part of Fangchengbao's broader strategy to boost sales in a competitive market where BYD's sub-brands often use promotional campaigns to attract buyers.

Fangchengbao, which translates roughly to "Formula Leopard," was launched by BYD in 2023 to target the premium off-road and SUV segment. The lineup includes plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery-electric (BEV) models, with the Bao 5 and Bao 8 positioned as rugged SUVs and the Tai series aimed at a younger, more urban audience. The Fangcheng S and SGT are the latest additions, expanding the brand's reach.
