Dongfeng Fengxing to Show Three New Models at 2026 Paris Motor Show

Dongfeng Fengxing will unveil the TK7, TK5, and V9 camper at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, marking a push into European markets with BEV and PHEV options.

Dongfeng Fengxing, the passenger-vehicle arm of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, will present three new models at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, according to Chinese automotive outlet Gasgoo. The event runs from October 12 to 18 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, where the brand will display the TK7, TK5, and a camper version of its V9 MPV in Hall 7.1.

Global-focused lineup

The centerpiece of the stand is the TK7, a multi-seat smart SUV developed for family use worldwide. It offers flexible seating layouts and 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power discharge, and will come in both battery-electric (BEV) and hybrid versions. The TK5 targets urban commuting, also available as a BEV or plug-in hybrid (PHEV), with safety, charging efficiency, and design tuned to international standards. Dongfeng says it has adapted the car for local charging infrastructure, climate, and driving habits in various markets.

The V9 camper edition is based on a large MPV, combining spacious interiors with outdoor camping features. All three models were developed from the ground up for global markets and usage scenarios, the company said.

European expansion plans

Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor unveiled its 'Ride the Wind Dual-Engine Plan' in 2025, earmarking 20 billion yuan (about $2.8 billion) for overseas operations through 2030, covering product development, localization, channels, and services. After the Paris show, Dongfeng Fengxing plans to deepen its presence in France and expand into Norway, Denmark, and other European countries.

The company has built nine overseas smart manufacturing plants and exported over 53,000 vehicles in 2025. From January to September 2026, exports reached 36,000 units. It has set up KD (knock-down) assembly bases in Egypt, Cambodia, and Myanmar, and added 40 overseas dealers and 30 service points. In Europe, Dongfeng Liuzhou has obtained EU whole-vehicle type approval since 2022, and its sales network now covers more than ten countries, including Germany and Italy.

Dongfeng Fengxing's move reflects a broader trend of Chinese automakers targeting Europe with purpose-built global models, blending BEV and PHEV powertrains to meet diverse market demands.
