The 2026 Golden Ji Award, organized by Chinese automotive information platform Gasgoo, has announced its list of China's top 100 new supply-chain companies. The ceremony, held in Shanghai on October 23, 2026, recognized firms that demonstrate strong capabilities in key technologies, product application, and industrial collaboration, according to Gasgoo.
Winners and criteria
Among the winners were Harman International, known for its automotive audio and connected-car solutions, and the Foshan branch of Valeo's lighting division in China. The award evaluates companies across five dimensions: innovation and advancement, technical feasibility, economic applicability, market recognition, and user experience.
The annual theme for 2026 was 'Chinese solutions going global,' reflecting the industry's push to turn locally developed technologies and practices into replicable, deliverable solutions for international markets. The award aims to highlight companies that not only innovate but also demonstrate engineering capability and market validation, as well as potential for global adaptation.
Focus on supply-chain evolution
Gasgoo emphasized that supply-chain companies are shifting from providing single components to offering system-level solutions, joint development, and global services. The award covers a broad range of sectors, including ADAS/AD (advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving), intelligent cockpits, smart chassis, automotive-grade chips, automotive software and artificial intelligence, powertrain electrification and charging/battery-swap infrastructure, body and interior/exterior components, new materials and advanced manufacturing, and embodied intelligence and cross-boundary technologies.
Applications for the 2027 Golden Ji Award have already opened, with Gasgoo inviting global automotive innovators to participate. The award is part of Gasgoo's mission to 'discover good companies, promote good technology, and empower automotive professionals.'
