Geely's all-electric Xingyuan hatchback has been climbing China's sales charts, and a new top trim aims to win over commuters with long drives. The 2026 Xingyuan 480km Explorer+ edition, priced at 94,800 yuan (about $13,350) as a Chinese guide price before taxes and incentives, packs a rear-mounted motor, 116 hp (86 kW), and four-wheel independent suspension into a body that measures 4,135 mm long with a 2,650 mm wheelbase.

The car's 47.14 kWh liquid-cooled battery from CATL supports a claimed CLTC range of 480 km (about 384-408 km WLTP est., as CLTC is typically 15-20% more optimistic). Charging options include 6.6 kW AC slow charging and DC fast charging, with an official 30-80% top-up time of 0.32 hours. The Xingyuan also offers 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) discharge, useful for powering external devices.

Despite its compact size, the Xingyuan maximizes space with a 70-liter front trunk and a 375-liter rear trunk that expands to 1,320 liters with the rear seats folded, according to Autohome, which reviewed the model.

Tech and Comfort for the Daily Grind
The top trim includes Geely's Qianli Haohan H3 driver assistance system, which provides navigation-assisted driving on highways and expressways, plus memory parking and traffic light recognition. Inside, the front seats are heated and ventilated, and the steering wheel is heated—a boon for drivers in colder regions.
The 14.6-inch central touchscreen (1,920x1,080 resolution) runs Flyme Auto 2.0 on a Longying 1 chip, with a voice assistant supporting dual-zone wake-up. The infotainment system supports four phone connectivity protocols: CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, Carlink, and Flyme Link, covering nearly all smartphone ecosystems.
Autohome's analysis suggests the Xingyuan 480km Explorer+ is best suited for urban commuters with 20-40 km one-way drives, who can charge once a week and benefit from the car's highway-capable ADAS and comfortable seats. The sub-100,000 yuan price point undercuts many rivals while offering a rare combination of rear-wheel drive and independent suspension in this segment.
