Geely has opened pre-sales for the Xingrui L PLUS, a new hybrid sedan that brings the brand's latest i-HEV hybrid system, a lidar-equipped advanced driver assistance package and an in-cabin EVA robot. According to NetEase Auto, the car is offered in four trims with a limited-time pre-sale price of 115,700 to 145,700 yuan (about $16,300 to $20,500), a Chinese guide price before taxes and incentives.
Design and dimensions
The Xingrui L PLUS adopts what Geely calls an "Eastern time sequence" design language, drawing inspiration from the changing light and seasons of traditional Chinese culture. The sedan measures 4,956 mm long, 1,915 mm wide and has a 2,845 mm wheelbase, giving it a wide, stable stance. The front grille features 31 vertical slats, flanked by dual-lens headlights, while the rear uses a full-width light bar with 436 LED units and 252 ultra-red LEDs for high nighttime visibility. Seven exterior colors are offered, including silver, purple-grey, red, white, blue, green and dark ink.
Inside, the cabin is a wraparound design with a 15.4-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen and a 16.6-inch W-HUD head-up display. The car runs Geely's Flyme Auto smart cockpit system, which includes dynamic wallpapers, cloud storage and a smart scene assistant. A notable addition is the EVA physical robot, designed to handle daily voice interactions and add an emotional layer to the in-car experience.
Hybrid powertrain and driver assistance
The Xingrui L PLUS is powered by Geely's latest i-HEV hybrid system, though the company has not yet released detailed output or fuel consumption figures. The car also features the Qianli Haohan H5 and above advanced driver assistance suite, which includes lidar, indicating a higher level of assisted driving capability. The system is expected to support functions such as highway and urban navigation assistance, though specific capabilities have not been detailed.
Pre-sale customers can take advantage of several benefits, including upgrade, finance, trade-in, warranty, data and smart features packages. The Xingrui L PLUS is part of Geely's China Star lineup, which the company positions as a blend of traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern technology. Deliveries are expected to begin after the pre-sale period, with official pricing likely to be announced closer to launch.
