Geely has kicked off global pre-sales for its first AI all-terrain off-road SUV, the Galaxy Warship 700, with a starting guide price of 199,800 yuan (about $28,100) before taxes and incentives. The model, unveiled on September 15, is positioned as a new-energy off-roader that blends urban comfort with rugged capability, according to Chinese outlet D1EV.
Six trims, three powertrains
The Galaxy Warship 700 is offered in five regular trims plus a limited-edition 'Land Ark' version. The lineup includes a 1.5T two-wheel-drive variant with 305 km of CLTC electric range (an estimated 244-259 km WLTP), priced from 199,800 yuan, and a 1.5T four-wheel-drive version with 280 km CLTC range (est. 224-238 km WLTP) starting at 229,800 yuan. A 2.0T four-wheel-drive top trim, with 270 km CLTC range (est. 216-230 km WLTP), is priced at 269,800 yuan. The limited 'Land Ark' edition, which adds emergency floating and oxygen supply systems, is listed at 389,800 yuan (about $54,900).
All versions come with a 47.14 kWh battery from CATL, supporting 6C fast charging that can take the pack from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. The 1.5T two-wheel-drive model features a body-on-frame construction, front aluminum double-wishbone suspension, 20-inch wheels, and heated and ventilated seats across all rows. The four-wheel-drive trims add three electric motors, a 'Waltz turn' function, and an intelligent all-terrain mode. The 2.0T version boasts over 1,000 hp (about 1,129 hp), a 0-100 km/h time of 3.95 seconds, a rear mechanical differential lock, and dual-chamber air suspension.
Celebrity endorsement and tech highlights
Geely also announced that Hong Kong actor-singer Nicholas Tse has become the global ambassador for the Galaxy Warship 700, marking his first endorsement of a Chinese car in his 29-year career. The brand said the partnership reflects shared values of 'fearless evolution' and aims to elevate the profile of Chinese off-road vehicles worldwide.
The SUV is built on Geely's GTA native new-energy off-road architecture and features a quantum-grade EEA4.0 electronic architecture. It includes an AI all-terrain digital chassis, a 540-degree off-road view, and the 'Qianli Haohan H7' driver-assistance system with door-to-door navigation pilot, covering highway and city NOA (urban advanced driver assistance). The cabin runs Flyme Auto 2 and offers a 23-speaker Flyme Sound system, a 18.5-liter dual-opening refrigerator, and a rear flat bed.
Safety features include a body-on-frame design with a torsional rigidity of over 41,000 Nm/deg, a hidden roll cage with a roof crush resistance of 16 tonnes, and optional low-orbit satellite communication. The 'Land Ark' edition adds emergency floating capability, active hydraulic suspension, and an oxygen supply system for extreme conditions.
Pre-sale customers can take advantage of a 1,000-yuan deposit that counts as 5,000 yuan, plus optional packages worth over 22,000 yuan, including a CCD continuously variable damping suspension and a 23-speaker audio upgrade. Geely says deliveries will prioritize pre-order customers, with orders available through its app and official channels.
