Alibaba has made its enterprise AI agent product, Qianwen Office, available on the Kylin Software Store, according to IThome. Users of Galaxy Kylin OS can now search for and install the tool with one click. The move marks the AI office assistant's full support for all major desktop operating systems, including Windows, macOS, HarmonyOS, Galaxy Kylin, and UnionTech UOS.
Deep integration with Kylin
Alibaba said its team worked closely with Kylin Software to optimize the product for the domestic OS, focusing on core areas such as system login integration, device interconnection, and skill invocation. The collaboration aims to deliver a native-level experience on Galaxy Kylin, ensuring stable and smooth AI-powered office workflows.
Users on Galaxy Kylin can not only access the general capabilities of the office agent but also leverage integrations with Alibaba's DingTalk collaboration suite. This includes sending messages, summarizing group chats, generating weekly reports, scheduling meetings, summarizing meeting minutes, and creating DingTalk documents and AI spreadsheets.
Rapid adoption
According to IThome, Qianwen Office has surpassed 30 million users within a month of its launch, with enterprise users accounting for more than half. The product recently introduced an industry-first 'multi-person workbench' that allows users to generate and publish a webpage supporting up to 100 concurrent collaborators based on simple descriptions. This feature aims to address the high costs of SaaS software procurement and the lengthy development cycles of custom software.
The expansion to Kylin OS is part of Alibaba's broader push to make its AI tools available across diverse environments, particularly in sectors where domestic operating systems are prevalent.
