AITO unveils four models at Paris Motor Show, confirms European entry for autumn 2027

AITO showcased the M9, M8, M7 and M6 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show and announced it will enter the European market in autumn 2027, backed by over 1.2 million Chinese users and 400 billion km of cumulative driving.

Chinese premium EV brand AITO used the 2026 Paris Motor Show on October 12 to confirm its European market entry for autumn 2027, presenting four models and a new technology platform under the theme "Intelligence Redefines Luxury." The announcement marks a significant step in the brand's global expansion, according to Chinese outlet First Electric (d1ev.com).

Four models and a flexible platform

AITO brought the M9, M8, M7 and M6 to Paris, alongside its "Magic Cube" technology platform. The platform integrates multiple powertrain options, an intelligent chassis, a central computing hub, cockpit-drive coordination and smart services. It is among the first in the industry to support three powertrain modes: extended-range electric (EREV), battery-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV), providing a foundation for global adaptation of AITO models.

Kang Bo, a board director and vice president of Seres Group, AITO's parent company, said at the show: "From deep technological development to international expansion, AITO is moving toward a broader world. Entering Europe is an important step in sharing new luxury with users. For AITO, new luxury is a deep integration of traditional luxury and technological luxury. We combine outstanding performance, comfort and craftsmanship with intelligent technology to further enhance the luxury experience, making technology truly serve people."

Proven in China, targeting Europe

AITO's global push is built on substantial domestic validation. In China, the brand has won the trust of more than 1.2 million users, with cumulative driving distance reaching 40 billion kilometres (about 24.9 billion miles). Of that, intelligent assisted driving mileage totals over 10.6 billion kilometres (about 6.6 billion miles), demonstrating large-scale real-world use of its ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).

Globally, AITO was included in Brand Finance's 2026 Global Automobile Brand Value 100 list, ranking first among Chinese luxury car brands and entering the global top ten luxury car brands. It is the only Chinese car brand on that list.

To integrate into the European market, AITO is actively pursuing regulatory compliance and localised operations. During product development, the brand is basing its approach on EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (EU WVTA) and targeting a five-star Euro NCAP 2026 rating, embedding safety throughout the development process. The company says it is also adapting vehicles to European road conditions, driving preferences and lifestyles to deliver a reassuring ownership experience.
