Onvo pushes OTA update to over 200,000 users, adds driving recorder and parking navigation

Onvo, Nio's mass-market brand, rolled out version 3.3.0 of its Coconut intelligent system to more than 200,000 users on October 15, adding a driving recorder for assisted driving sessions, defensive driving logic for rainy conditions, and parking-lot-level navigation for over 3,000 garages in China.

Onvo, the mass-market electric-vehicle brand under Nio, has started pushing version 3.3.0 of its Coconut intelligent system to more than 200,000 users, according to Chinese automotive outlet PCauto. The over-the-air (OTA) update, released on October 15, 2026, includes 30 feature adjustments spanning assisted driving and the smart cockpit.

Assisted driving upgrades

In the assisted-driving domain, the update introduces an OSD highlight feature that lets drivers record clips during assisted-driving sessions. The point-to-point full-domain navigation assist now includes defensive-driving logic for rainy conditions, and the update also improves the efficiency of both the full-domain navigation assist and the enhanced lane-centering assist. Additionally, the vehicle's cold-start time for the phone-based remote parking feature has been shortened.

PCauto notes that earlier data from Onvo showed that two weeks after the 3.1.0 version was released on July 23, users' assisted-driving usage time increased by 67% month-on-month, and urban navigation assist mileage rose by 147%.

Cockpit and navigation enhancements

In the cockpit, the system now includes a karaoke floating-ball scoring feature and a singer leaderboard, using a self-developed five-dimensional scoring algorithm. Users can generate posters to share scores and see national and provincial rankings. The infotainment system adds high-definition wallpaper desktops and an immersive music player, while ambient lighting now syncs with music and cinema modes.

Navigation gains parking-lot-level guidance, compatible with more than 3,000 parking garages across China, including support for locating elevator lobbies and exits. The interaction layer adds a full-screen 360-degree camera mode and a tailgate anti-collision reminder. The voice assistant, Xiaole, has expanded voice-control capabilities and improved response speed and interaction performance.
