Lexus has launched the 2027 model year LS flagship sedan in its home market of Japan, introducing a refreshed lineup that is now exclusively hybrid. The updated LS500h, which goes on sale September 10, retains the 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with Lexus's hybrid system, delivering a combined output of 264 kW (354 hp). The top-tier EXECUTIVE trim adds a new interior option with cut-glass trim inspired by Japanese kiriko craftsmanship.
The 2027 LS is offered in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations across three trim levels. Prices in Japan start at 14.14 million yen (about 617,000 yuan, or roughly $86,900) for the F SPORT RWD, with the AWD version at 14.62 million yen (about 638,000 yuan / $89,900). The version L is priced from 16.04 million yen (about 699,000 yuan / $98,500) for RWD and 16.52 million yen (about 720,000 yuan / $101,400) for AWD.
